Amla is a potent powder that is a pillar in Ayurvedic hair care. It is rich in nutrients that are critical for hair growth, thickening and over all scalp health. Amla is known for strengthening hair follicles and increasing not only the number of viable follicles but the thickness of the hair strand each follicle generates. over time it may help with hair thickness, definition and shine.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Please always be sure to perform an allergy and strand test. An allergy test can be completed by making up a paste and applying an amount to the skin at the back of the ear or neck and waiting 48 hours to ensure there is no reaction, change in skin colour, texture or sensation. A strand test can be performed by adding a small amount of masque paste to the hair and leaving in for at least an hour before rinsing.

Amla Pro Thickness Powder was my first Curly Proverbz purchase as a trial test a few years ago and my hair loved it. After the first use, my thin/type 4 hair looked fuller, stronger, and my natural curls were shiny and defined. Amla will always be my go to/main ingredient in Ayurvedic hair care.

My hair is so soft!!!

I absolutely love this product. I add it to my deep conditioner and it blends in like butter. After sitting under the dryer, I rinse the product out and my hair feels so soft. I started using this product in my children’s hair and it’s the same results.

The as powder gas become a permanent part of my routine. I really like it. I mix it with a conditioner and some oil. It’s really great.

Good product

I have only used the amla powder once so far. It left my hair soft and manageable. I can't testify yet as to whether it will give me thicker hair. I am hopeful. I will leave another review after using the product for a longer period of time.
