IMPORTANT NOTE

Please always be sure to perform an allergy and strand test. An allergy test can be completed by applying an amount to the skin at the back of the ear or neck and waiting 48 hours to ensure there is no reaction, change in skin colour, texture or sensation. A strand test can be performed by adding a small amount of oil to the hair and leaving in for at least an hour before rinsing. This is especially important if you have light coloured hair, grey hair.

I wasn't sure what to do with this oil and I've been working on hair health over length. I was using a hair butter and was not a big fan of it. I watched one of Curly Proverbz old videos where she mentioned using the Golden One for moisturizing your hair. I started using it again and fell in love with it. I use it between my washes and I told myself, I need to order more. I have 3A-4B hair type, high porosity and high density hair and my hair loves this oil. Definitely going to buy more!!!!

I wasn't quite sure how to best utilize this oil for my hair so it sat on the shelf for a while until a few days ago. My hair had been so dry I thought I should try hair oiling which hasn't worked well for me with other oils. I grabbed this one and spritzed my hair with warm water. I noticed that my hair was drinking it in the more I massaged it. No greasiness, or even much oiliness! My hair was noticeably softer and easier to manage AND wasn't breaking as I finger detangled! What!? Days later and still soft for hair that's always wiry and dry I am so pleased and grateful.
